Man, I've been in an art slump lately. At least I know I can fiddle around with bird designs if I ever get too bad, haha. Oh, and I'm still working on the comic below, I'll have the second page up eventually. Hope you all enjoyed July, it's almost done now!

So I somewhat got frustrated and decided to keep it insanely sketchy. I'll see how I can work with the other two pages, though! So stay posted.

I'm trying out a bit of a comic idea, this is a rough pass at it, the first page of three. I thought of it in the shower today and decided to run with it. I'll post the other two pages once I get them more roughed out. But yeah... I think it's cute, nothing really straining my character design skills though... nothing at all. But whatever! It's for fuN!

EDIT: omg, i have so much trouble colouring things! This is the colour page and the same page with a multiply sketch layer overtop -- Goro if you're reading this, do you have any tips in general about digital painting (or anyone else who's comfortable with it)?

Quickie post
I was watching the hummingbirds at our feeder this morning, most of them are actually female, but I like the colours of the male better. I know, Flit, from Pochahontas. I actually didn't look at any pictures of him, but I'd imagine he looks something like this. Just fooling around with OC.

I went bungee jumping in Switzerland. And now I'm back.

Haha, actually I went backpacking for two months in Europe, and now I'm back. So I have a good excuse for the lack of art posts! But no excuse for delaying an update any further, so look for one soon!
